Hey guys. First post on here. I bought a ruckus (50) about a month and a half ago. I bought it basically to commute to school. I live in east cambridge and will be commuting to boston. I basically bought it cause a friend was moving home to SG and needed to sell it. I figured it would be fun, knowing the mod potential on these things. I also like the idea of parking on the sidewalk cause I'm sick of parking my car on the st on meters. Everyone on here seems to be wary of parking on sidewalks but I've been going at it since I bought it...
Anyway here's some pics. Sorry most are cell phone LOL.

first pic I took of it, next to my car.

Clearly I got the bug. Lemme think of what's done to it.

parts painted Glut Orange/black
Upgraded headlights
new/moved blinkers
LED tailight
Seat lowering kit + pegs for feet
Handle bar lowering / bmx style
Rear shock
Front forks
stainless steel brake lines
Speedometer flush mounted on electrical box
Yoshimura exhaust
Radiator cover
Chrome coolant tank
Malossi var. (not installed yet)

Since then I did a frame extension and fatty wheel in the rear...

thanks guys, just looking for some people in the area!

Best picture thread in a long time. Any pics with the pipe back on after the extension ? Does the pipe have enough support ? I've seen em crack on some of the newer Vespa's.

I'd never park that on the sidewalk. That's like putting baby in the corner and nobody puts baby in the corner.

Awesome Cool . I think I may have seen this bike in Central Square a couple of weeks ago (prior to the new rear wheel).

Where did you get the rear wheel ? Are you going to get one for the front ? How does it ride now ? Any chance of seeing this at Moto Market some Thursday night ?

Great work, Cool

Lol. Thanks. I live near kendall.

The rear wheel is an atv wheel. It's 8 inches wide. I'll end up getting a polished wheel for the front along with disc brakes. But the front wheel will not be that wide lol, just same width as stock. It takes a lot to swing it around a turn now.

What's moto market? Thursdays? I clicked the link and saw great rd in acton. And realized I actually rode from cambridge to acton last friday... A friend's shop is right on great rd.

Moto Market sells protective gear and coffee. On thursday they have a bike night until 8PM. You see every kind of bike and scoot there. People would talk your ear off if you showed up on the Ruck.

Stop by some time and check it out.

This bike from Confederate Motorcycles was out this past Thursday. I know not a scoot, but you never know what's going to show up. Cool I have not seen the BMW scoot with the roof this year. Confused

Is it the camera angle or is that engine bigger than the wheels?

I think the engine is bigger than the wheels which makes it more scooter like. Very Happy

I found my new motorcycle here: B120 Wraith now if I can just find those lucky winning lottery numbers. Shocked

Any new pics this weekend FatMike ?
